Extrusion coating refers to the coating of a molten web of synthetic resin onto a substrate web of material. This is a versatile coating technique which is used commonly for the economic application of a number of plastics (often polyethylene) onto paperboard, corrugated fibre board, paper,non-woven,aluminium foils, cellulose and plastic films.
