The successful candidate will have the ability to provide the lead role in the development of Harland machinery and module range; this involves the ability to work closely with suppliers to create designs to allow for the most efficient manufacturing methods available. The role will involve the use of SolidWorks (predominantly) and AutoCad to create innovative mechanical drawings, experience in the creation of bills of material and general arrangement drawings for use in technical manuals is desired. The position will involve providing lead support for technical and development queries to both Harland staff and key customers. The individual must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed and hold a mechanical design/engineering qualification to HNC/HND standard along with a qualification in computer aided design.
